Everyone, you ask? Well, yes. Lets take a look at why... On October 18, 2011 the Pre-Holiday Facebook: Game Of Like began. It ran until October 28th - A partnership effort with More In Media.

A Few Likeable Numbers
- 224 people signed up for the Facebook Event.
- 25 people invited their friends to join the game.
- 16 people referred others that also played along!
- 24 people carved pumpkins.
- 23 people reached 250,215 tweeters with 151 tweets on Twitter.
- 11 blog posts by others were written about the Pre-Holiday Facebook: Game Of Like experience.
- 66 belong to the private Facebook Group focused on building upon what we learned.
Reported Facebook Likes ranged from 65 to 100+ per Facebook Page.
Is It All In A Like?
Well, no -- not really. Unless the element of engagement is present, the number of fans (evangelists) doesn't matter. So, while some might consider the reported number of Likes per page low...
Clicking "Like" is easy - Takes little effort or commitment. Which is why we set the game up as a series of steps to learn techniques that actually work to grow business via Facebook. We called those Like Achievements. And even provided tips for success and promotional materials to get more people involved.
You had to actually ENGAGE to win. Fans....and pathways to new opportunities. Those that engaged made new friends, grew their network, and connected their business to fresh possibilities and potential partnerships!
So how did the Likes & wins shake out?
Everyone Wins The Pre-Holiday Facebook: Game Of Like!

PAY DAY: Engagers Win Twice
While most people entered the game to increase their Facebook Likes, the exercise was really all about making connections that grow and strengthen small businesses and non-profits. I think that happened.
Everyone that gave it honest effort won at least once.
Think about it -- They...
- Met new and interesting people.
- Were introduced to new Facebook Pages and products/services.
- Connected with potential future business partners.
- Learned important Facebook Marketing techniques.
- Received 3 FREE Tools as a valuable resource.
- Were invited to a private Facebook Group where learning and networking continues.
We tried to make it as fun as playing board games with your family on Saturday night!
