Client Challenge

The folks at House Sitting World had carefully invested in their notifications technology and worked with a web developer to make their website mobile responsive. They were hoping to see a greater number of conversions from visitors to members, and they wanted to expand their business to eventually offer courses and events.

We found they needed work on consistent branding, updated brand messaging and website text, as well as refreshed and optimized social media profiles. Their online presence included a lot of good work, but it was segmented and needed to be aligned for clarity.

Our Solution

We performed a deep-dive social media audit and formulated a social media strategy. The clients were mobile entrepreneurs, so we also provided a social strategy checklist so they could access action steps in a convenient way. To provide a clear brand online, we created logo avatars and matching social media banners for their social profiles. From there we compiled a content bank of their own created content so they could easily syndicate it at desired intervals into the future.

From the evaluation conversation, we determined the client would benefit from some social media coaching. Working with the client, we helped them optimize their social profiles with keywords and phrases as well as icon imagery to suit their brand. We recommended posting and hashtag strategies to increase engagement. Also suggested activities and events that they could do to be more social online and encourage new memberships.

Further consulting included targeted brand messaging and text placement so they could work with their web developer on tweaks to the site to further clarify brand and work toward improving on-site membership conversions.

How It Performed

The client did see improvement in social media engagement. With that and connecting in their own personal circles, they were able to create a niche event for their global fans, attended personally in London, UK. Personal priorities have changed for the client, and they are open to purchase of their notification technology.
