The statistics prove it - your target market is increasingly attracted to social media. Here are 3 creative ways to use digital marketing by effectively integrating social media in your campaigns...

Top Ways To Integrate Social Media In Your Digital Marketing Campaigns

Social media is transforming the way we live. Through social media, we can interact with our friends, family, and the rest of the world in the click of a button.

Today, social media users reach a whopping 2.34 billion, which is roughly a third of the entire global population. The number is only expected to grow in the next few years as experts project it to reach 3 billion by 2020.

The implications are tremendous!

Social media is not only transforming personal interaction; it is also reshaping business and advertising. With that, corporate trade businesses are providing new solutions to help companies cope with the changing landscape of media and marketing.

More and more, the markets are moving towards social media. According to studies, 51% of Facebook users and 64% of Twitter users prefer to do business with brands they follow online.  That makes the role of digital marketing important to marketers.

Need ways to integrate social media to your digital marketing?

3 Creative Ways To Use Digital Marketing

1) Produce Creative And Unique Content

What is digital marketing strategy in the grand scheme of things?

Because digital marketing is so broad, there are practically no limits to how you can reach your customers. There is much room for creativity.

Engage your audience with content that is interactive and participatory. Social media should be social, so allow your audience to be participants instead of spectators. The more they feel a part of your campaign, the more likely they will remember your brand.

One way you can encourage participation is through forums and threads. Forums and threads give your customers the opportunity to offer comments and insights. This allows them to voice their concerns and interact with each other. If done well, these avenues can evolve into full-blown communities where your customers can contribute to your campaigns.

Looking for more ways to maximize your traction? Barter companies can utilize your idle assets and find channels for your online campaigns.

2) Tap Influencers

Social media is unparalleled in the way it can empower individuals. Give your brand a voice by tapping influencers.

What is an influencer?

An influencer is a normal person (read: non-celebrity) who is “often connected to key roles of media outlets, consumer groups, industry associations, or community tribes…[they] may or may not be aware of your company but represent control of an audience segment that is important to your business” (Influencer Analysis).

Influencers are industry-specific personalities whose opinions matter to a broad audience. For online retailers, influencers can be fashion bloggers, beauty columnists, and fitness models; For health products, they can be trainers, bodybuilders, and athletes.

One of the best ways to penetrate a market is to work with someone who has already done it. The more connected you are with influential personalities, the better you can influence your audience.

3) Engage Existing Customers

One of the biggest mistakes most marketers make is focusing too heavily on customer acquisition and neglecting customer retention. Acquiring a new customer is up to ten times more expensive than retaining an existing customer, which makes little sense when existing customers spend 31% more than new customers.

Keep your existing customers at bay by updating them at your social media pages. When you take care of your customers, they will take care of your brand.

Creative Digital Marketing - Final Thoughts

The world - and the markets - are moving more and more towards social media. Improve your social media marketing campaigns using the three digital marketing examples above.
